How to request deletion of your data from Majesta

Overview

At Majesta, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. This page explains how to do so and what happens when you delete your data.

How to Delete Your Data

Method 1: Delete Your Account in the App

Recommended Method

  1. Log into your Majesta account at app.majestaenterprise.com
  2. Go to SettingsAccount
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision
  5. Your account and data will be deleted immediately

Method 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer email:

Email Us:

  • To: privacy@majestaenterprise.com
  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Include:
    • Your full name
    • Email address associated with your account
    • Phone number (if applicable)
    • Business name (if applicable)

What Gets Deleted

Immediately Deleted:

  • Account Information: Email, password, phone number, business details
  • Platform Connections: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger access tokens (revoked)
  • Inventory Data: All product information, prices, stock quantities
  • Message History: All conversation logs and customer interactions
  • Analytics Data: Usage statistics and performance metrics
  • Subscription Information: Billing history and payment details

Retained Data (Legal Requirements):

We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Financial Records: Transaction history for tax compliance (up to 7 years)
  • Legal Claims: Data necessary for ongoing legal matters
  • Fraud Prevention: Information to prevent abuse of our services
  • Aggregated Data: Anonymous, non-identifiable analytics

Deletion Timeline

Immediate (Within Minutes)

Account access revoked, platform connections disconnected

Within 30 Days

All personal data, messages, and inventory permanently deleted from active systems

Within 90 Days

Backup copies and archived data permanently deleted

Important Considerations

⚠️ Before You Delete:

  • This action is permanent: Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered
  • Export your data first: Download any information you want to keep before deletion
  • Active subscriptions: We recommend cancelling your subscription before deleting your account. Go to Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription to review your current plan and billing period end date.

What Happens to Third-Party Data

Meta/WhatsApp/Instagram:

  • Your connection to Majesta will be revoked
  • Meta retains your data according to their own policies
  • You must separately delete data from Meta if desired
  • Visit Meta's account deletion page

AI Services (meta-llama/llama-4-scout/Groq):

  • Your messages are not permanently stored by these services
  • Data is used only for generating responses in real-time
  • No action required on your part

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my data after deletion?

No. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Make sure to export any data you want to keep before requesting deletion.

Will my customers be notified?

We do not automatically notify your end-customers — the people who messaged your business through WhatsApp or Instagram — when you delete your account. You should inform them separately if needed. You will receive a confirmation email at your registered address once your deletion request has been processed.

What happens to my active subscription?

Your subscription will be cancelled and account access revoked immediately upon deletion. We recommend reviewing your billing period end date in Settings → Billing before deleting, so you can plan accordingly.

How long does the deletion process take?

Account access is revoked immediately. Complete deletion from all systems takes up to 90 days.

Can I delete only some of my data?

Yes. You can delete specific messages, conversations, or inventory items from within your account settings without deleting your entire account.
